Singapore just signed a 3-year partnership with Disney! What does that mean for Singaporeans?

SINGAPORE JUST SIGNED A 3-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH DISNEY!

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia have just announced their 3-year partnership today at Singapore’s annual Tourism Industry Conference.

The collaboration will start off with Star Wars-themed activities this year, with the first being the Star Wars Day: May the 4th Be With You Festival from May 4-6 at Gardens by the Bay, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the movie franchise. Are you getting excited yet?! We sure are!

Read about the Star Wars Run on our other post here.

One of the highlights of this festival will be the SaberTrees, with the Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay transformed into lightsabers, as well as the first Star Wars Run here and the outdoor screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

What we are really excited about is the following event based on the Marvel theme in 2018, which will add more exciting opportunities and unique experiences to take the Disney brand of storytelling closer to Singapore fans as well as visitors from the region. For more information, head over to Channel News Asia.

We're hoping so bad that Singapore will open a Disneyland of our own here but until then, we're perfectly okay with visiting the nearest Disneylands to us -- Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland

What else do you think will be included in this Disney x Singapore partnership? Comment down below!
